What does it mean to be a teacher in a "21st Century Classroom"?
Over the next day and a half we will explore the answers to that question. You and your colleagues will collaboratively explore resources to develop your own definition of a 21st century classroom. Then, using that knowledge you will create a unit plan for your 21st century classroom.

On that journey you will seek answers to the following questions:

What does a 21st century classroom look, sound and feel like?

How do we decide what students should know and be able to do?

How are higher level thinking skills incorporated in learning?

What are Big Ideas?

What are essential, guiding and content questions?

What do 21st century assessments look like?

For what purposes are students assessed? Formatively? Summatively?

How are the 4 C's incorporated in learning?

How can technology serve the learning?
